Introduction to metaphysics studies the groundwork and philosophy of metaphysics. Metaphysics includes the morals & history of contemporary metaphysics, its practical applications and cause & effect of the ancient greek philosophy metaphysics. Aristotle, Kant & Descartes are examined. "The earliest German textbook on metaphysics was published by the Wittenberg professor Daniel Cramer in , two years before Taurellus' 's Isagoge in Metaphysicam is a very modest attempt to present the contents of Aristotle's Metaphysics, but the work is important because its basic structure was retained in other early German textbooks.

Metaphysics is hard to define. The term itself can mean "beyond physics" but it's tricky to get more precise without inviting controversy. Early use of the term simply referred to the topics covered by the work placed after (hence meta) the Physics in the traditional editing and not commentary of Aristotle's works made by the Greek Peripatetic philosopher Andronicus Of Rhodes.   This book is an accessible introduction to the central themes of contemporary metaphysics. It carefully considers accounts of causation, freedom and determinism, laws of nature, personal identity, mental states, time, material objects, and properties, while inviting students to reflect on metaphysical problems/5(18).

What follows in this 8-part article series “ Beginner’s Guide to Metaphysics,” will be a brief, connective roadmap between the recurring ideologies of the surviving schools of mysticism in order to bring to discussion the second half of mysticism as a whole–its allegory/5(5). Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that examines the fundamental nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, between substance and attribute, and between potentiality and actuality. The word "metaphysics" comes from two Greek words that, together, literally mean "after or behind or among [the study of] the natural".

The Adorno Perspective "Heidegger's philosophy is fascist right down to its innermost components." The problem, as I see it, is that answering this question colors your metaphysical path. There is no single path, and people have debated about the reality/fantasy. E.g., it is generally agreed that the elements and first principles of speech are those things of which, in their simplest form, all speech is composed; and not the common term "speech"; and in the case of geometrical propositions we call those the "elements" 39 whose proofs are embodied in the proofs of all or most of thein the.

Plato, in his theory of forms, separates the sensible world (appearances) of the intelligible world (ideas) and the intelligible world was the only reality, the foundation of all truth. But in Aristotle’s Metaphysics, at the heart of his philosophy, such separation removes any intelligibility and meaning to the world. The book is not an introduction to metaphysics but rather an introduction to the method of metaphysics, or intuition.
